Tokachidake Bogakudai Observation Tower

This is a viewing spot located at an altitude of 930 meters on the way to Fukiage Hot Springs from the Shirakaba Road in Biei. Mountains in the 2000-meter range loom before your eyes, and, looking down, you can see the lush green countryside stretching far into the distance. It is a place where the grandeur of nature makes you feel small. In the summer, you can enjoy nature walks while looking at the various alpine plants. It is also a great place to visit in the fall, when the leaves change color beautifully.
